Painting "An accurate depiction of inner landscape" 110x100 cm
I could simply say that this is a painting about May. But in reality it is much more complicated.
It must have happened to me like it happened to one of the three graces in Botticelli's painting "Primavera" - Cupid, aiming with his eyes closed, conjures up that creature for Mercury, the Roman god who symbolizes the month of May in the painting. And I, like her, am captivated by May both in waking life and in my glorious dreams, which - by some coincidence - according to Roman stories, are brought to people by the messenger of the gods, Mercury. May is suited to both the depths of the dark forest waters and the full bloom of vitality and life in the flora - a dizzying combination both in painting and in life - to be alive, to feel hungry and from time to time to swim in its mysterious waters of the depths. It came out terribly poetic, but that is what May is - insanely beautiful, insanely dizzying and very much loved by the graces, isn't it?
